Ceramic Sculpture Inspired By Life

Join a group class of 6 to enjoy the process of making sculptures inspired by life.

This course supports the development of sculptural skills through observation using hand building techniques with clay.

With support from a professional sculptor, students will develop hands-on experience of a variety of sculptural projects in a small group of max 6 students. Each will be encouraged to express their personal response building towards creating a unique visual language in 3D. There will be opportunities to work from observation of a live professional model, together with demonstrations and detailed instructions of how to prepare work for firing as ceramic.
