Let yourself go in collage…
A day exploring how to transform or rework an existing piece - enhancing the work, or producing something completely different. Experiment with recycling old works by adding collage and texture to them - adding and taking away materials, sticking on interesting textures, ripping up and gluing cut out papers from magazines and newspapers, and having fun in experimenting and just 'letting go' .
Some images for inspiration will be provided - a still life will be set-up, some landscape images will be suggested, or /and you can bring images of your own.
We'll also provide some interesting textures and materials to use and play around with, lots of glue (very necessary), and a variety of different papers to use in your work.
Bring an existing artwork on either paper or canvas that you'd like to use - but if you don't have one, we'll provide some blank sheets of paper!
