Sophie is a wonderful teacher. I did not expect to progress so quickly and enjoy all the different media and styles. Sophie encouraged me to see things in a different light, and I gained confidence in drawing features and expressions and enjoyed playing with new techniques. Her communication was clear and I felt comfortable following her guidance, plus enjoyed our friendly chats that brightened my morning!.
I’m so delighted I took the plunge and I signed up to one of Sophie’s botanical art courses. I learnt so many new skills and couldn’t believe the progress I made over the weeks. At every new stage I was doubting whether I would get the hang of it but Sophie patiently showed us all step by step and somehow I found myself doing it. It’s been hugely satisfying and now I’m inspired to keep testing out what I’ve learnt
I love my weekly portrait classes with Sophie. We’ve just been mixing paint colours to match our skin tones. I can’t wait to test it out when we paint the model next week
